Position Overview:

The IT Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining, upgrading, and advancing the technology and systems within the organization. The primary focus will be on specialized maintenance of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and common software platforms.

Location: This position is on-site in Chatsworth, CA 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. CRM Support:

  • Regularly monitor and maintain the organization's CRM system to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any CRM-related issues to minimize disruptions in workflow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CRM customizations and improvements.
  • Train users on the barcode scanning system. 
  • Identifying and documenting systems defects for the development team. 
  • Maintain data integrity and entry standards. 
2. Office 365 Support:
  • Provide advanced technical support for Microsoft 365, including resolving complex technical issues, managing cloud identities, and maintaining a secure enterprise environment.
  • This role requires strong expertise in Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and hybrid identity synchronization, along with the ability to handle escalated support requests and assist with process automation.
     
3. Software Upgrades and Maintenance.
  • Oversee software upgrades, updates, and patches to keep systems current and secure.
  • Perform routine checks to identify and address potential vulnerabilities in software platforms.
  • Provide technical support to end-users encountering software-related challenges.
  • Update and maintain program security.

4. Technology Advancement:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in CRM and common software platforms.
  • Recommend and implement innovative solutions to enhance the organization's technological capabilities.
  • Evaluate new software tools and technologies that align with business needs.

5. Documentation and Training:

  • Create comprehensive documentation for software installations, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Create user guides and training documentation. 
  • Conduct training sessions for staff to enhance their proficiency in using CRM and software tools.
  • Manage hardware deployment and workstation setup, onboard new users, and provide hands-on troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and local network equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and managing CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in common software platforms (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, collaboration tools).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., CRM certifications) are a plus.
