Position Overview:
The Commercial Business Development will develop their territories through prospecting with Architects, Developers, and Contractors to increase company and product awareness, to drive company revenue. The Ideal candidate will develop and implement strategies to acquire new accounts, generate projects through prospecting and cold calling to grow new opportunities for the company and close sales.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
The Commercial Business Development will develop their territories through prospecting with Architects, Developers, and Contractors to increase company and product awareness, to drive company revenue. The Ideal candidate will develop and implement strategies to acquire new accounts, generate projects through prospecting and cold calling to grow new opportunities for the company and close sales.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Master product details and applications
- Increase company and product exposure daily through prospecting all Architects, Developers, and General Contractors in your assigned territories
- Schedule appointments with Decision makers, present product line, provide consultation and convert to clients
- Evaluate clients' needs and build productive long-lasting relationships ensuring customer loyalty through excellent customer service as well as meeting client needs appropriate to their business
- Systematically compile contacts for Developers, Architects, and General Contractors in RM
- Efficiently maintain a high level of account management and follow-ups
- Meet or exceed KPIs and monthly Revenue targets by excelling in daily behaviors and corporate processes
- By corporate needs participate in industry events, trade shows, and association activities (AIA, ASID, IIDA, etc.)
- 5+ years of solid outside sales/ business development experience
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Experience working with architects, developers and/or contractors
- Proven ability to prospect, build, and maintain key customer relationships
- Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
- Proven ability to negotiate and close sales
- Strong communication & presentation skills
- Ability to master our product line and its applications, including space planning
- Outgoing and engaging personality
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
- Superior organization and follow up skills
- Ability to travel for client meetings and corporate meetings
- High School Diploma: Associates preferred
- Current and valid Driver's License
